Job Description:

PIRTEK of Altamonte Springs is looking for Field Service Technicians to service, assemble and install hoses, pumps and cylinders for a diverse customer base. These customers includes manufacturing, construction and rental companies, to name a few.

As a Pirtek Field Service Technician you would be operating out of a mobile hydraulic workshop/van, supported by our Altamonte Springs Service and Supply Center, carrying out service calls in the North Orlando metro area.

We are looking for applicants with strong mechanical skills, excellent communication and strong customer service skills. If you are mechanically-inclined, enjoy meeting new people and working with customers, this is an excellent career path for you. Hydraulic experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate.

The ideal candidate must have the following background:

High School Diploma or GED
Mature and Career Oriented (no job hoppers)
Mechanically Inclined
Good Communication Skills
Positive Attitude, Great Energy, and Ambition
Self-motivated
Clean Driving Record

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to move 50lbs+ frequently and across short distances.
Must be able to move and traverse areas that can be uneven.
Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder to repair equipment.
Must be able to position self to repair equipment in small spaces as well as bend down frequently.
Must be able to occasionally work at heights possibly exceeding 25 ft with a safety harness.
Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.
Must be able to operate phones, tablets, and other technology.
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet to a few inches of the observer).
Must be able to be on-call one week approximately every four weeks, resulting in possible overtime.
Must be able to perform other job duties as assigned.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
