PIRTEK, with a 40 year global history and the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement is hiring for the position of Mobile Sales and Service Technician (MSST) in the Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Clemmons, and Lewisville areas.

As a Mobile Sales and Service Technician, you will be helping a small business owner grow their local business and enjoy a career where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose hydraulic problems, service, assemble, and install hoses for a diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies as well as conducting sales calls to generate work from existing and new customers. As a PIRTEK MSST, you will be operating out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose-built van while conducting sales and service calls. We offer extensive training to ensure all MSSTs are fully trained to effectively perform these tasks. While conducting service calls, the MSST operates a purpose-built PIRTEK service van fitted with specialized equipment which is designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site. The mechanical expertise is imperative to allow you to effectively and efficiently diagnose the hydraulic failure as well as remove the old and install the new hoses.

Responsibilities:

Service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer’s base
Carry out sales and service calls in the Winston-Salem, Kernersville, Lewisville and Clemmons (NC) areas.
OK with working outside
Develop relationships with new and existing customers
Evaluate the condition of equipment and recognize potential hose failures
Ensure customer satisfaction
Be available for after hour “on-call” rotating assistance to customers
Maintain clean, work vehicle, inventory, and tools
Perform all work safely and with high quality
Upbeat personality with a positive attitude
Self-motivated
Perform related duties as assigned safely with highest quality, and proficiency
Represent the premium brand of PIRTEK in a professional manner

Qualifications:

Clean driving record (zero points minimum of 5 years) (Will be asked to provide NC DOT Record)
Pass a criminal background check
Character References will be required
Experience as a hands-on mechanic required
CDL highly desirable
Must be available to attend on-site 5 day technical training in FL (company paid)
High School Diploma or GED
Hydraulic knowledge highly desirable
Good Communication Skills
Attention to detail
Positive attitude
Self-motivated
NC/Winston Salem area residence required
